Mukutan Conservancy
The Mukutan Conservancy is an 88,000-acre wildlife sanctuary on the edge of Kenya’s Great Rift Valley. Managed by the Gallmann Memorial Foundation, this critical biodiversity hotspot protects diverse ecosystems ranging from savannahs to ancient cedar forests. It is home to rare species like the melanistic leopard and over 470 types of birds, offering a rugged, low-impact wilderness experience centered on land regeneration and community partnership.
